GARDEN & OUTSIDE FACILITIES

Guests and their children are welcome to use and explore all the garden areas. There is a croquet lawn (with local character) together with an assortment of mallets for varying ages and serious competitors should be aware that the blue ball has a mind of its own!!

There are various sitting out areas in the gardens, with tables, benches and outside chairs for your use. Feel free to move them where you wish commensurate with shade or sunny spots of preference.

The covered main Cider Barn and its chairs, sofas and benches are for guests use whenever they wish in fine weather. The welcoming, complementary Cream Tea or glass of wine can be served there or elsewhere, inside or outside - you chose.

Children are welcome to climb on both the old Fergie T20 tractors both of which are in working order and regularly used (although to look at one of them that’s hard to believe – and that’s the younger of the two too!!)

For safely purposes and mindful of both the Mill Leet and the main River Teign which run either side of the property, Parents are reminded that small children and especially non-swimmers may need close supervision.
